Hobbies

I do love to work with children of all ages. I have been babysitting children ages 6months - 14 years of age for a long time now. With that always comes informal lessons and education. For formal teaching, I substitute taught at elementary, middle and high schools and was a secondary school teacher for one year. I believe that every child is unique and given the proper guidance, has the ability to mature emotionally, intellectually and socially. Each child can bring something positive to the classroom and the world. As an educator, I try to help each student discover more about themselves and the world around them. Every child can learn, but its important to remember that many learn differently.
