I am a mathematics instructor as well as a tutor. It is my philosophy that a student reaps greater benefit from an individual tutoring session when having difficulties with course material. In my tutoring sessions, I provide care and compassion, and know that when given a positive and supportive environment, any student has the ability to finish with success. A positive and supportive environment is also instrumental in building student confidence, one of the main components of success. I graduated from Montclair State University, and I teach and tutor courses in elementary and middle school mathematics, pre-algebra through algebra 2, and geometry. I am also able to help you or your student with prep for SAT mathematics exams. In my free time, I volunteer at an animal shelter, and find it one of my favorite things to do. I also like to practice yoga and go dancing.
