My goal is getting students to become independent through questioning. Help students develop self-confidence and improve study skills. In addition, I provide students with an opportunity to speak up and ask questions, an opportunity sometimes unavailable or missed in a regular classroom situation. I provides the practice and drill in specific course material needed by the student. I have empathy with my student's problems I have a sense of humor I have the ability to "lighten up" a situation I work through my student's strengths to improve his/her weaknesses I make my students feel good about themselves and their accomplishments I always end the session on a positive note
