Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida, and am now pursuing my Journalism master's degree at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. When I was in Florida, I had the opportunity to work as a mentor to writing students at the writing center in my university. In addition, I have experience working as a professional journalist throughout the years. I'm taking the Social Journalism program, and am going to spend the year analyzing diversity throughout the gaming community, which I participate in eagerly. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, and have won awards for my journalism, in the form of scholarships. I've completed a number of internships, which have given me experience working at a variety of types of media companies. As a tutor, I like to help my students learn in a fun environment. I'm available to tutor students in English, Spanish, and Journalism subjects, such as reading, writing, literature, grammar, and more. I can also teach students for whom English is not their original language, and help students prepare for the English and reading sections of such standardized exams as the ACT. In my free time, I enjoy gaming, watching anime, and hanging out with my cat.
